Dzhafar Mikhailovich Mallaev

Dzhafar was born in September 18, 1949 in V.Kazanishe village of Buinaksk region, the republic of Daghestan in the employees family. By nationality he is kumic.
He lost parents in childhood and was brought up in Makhachkala city.
From 1957 to 1967 Dzhafar Mallaev had studied at secondary school?� 10 in Makhachkala. Since 1957 to 1971 he had studied at The Daghestan state pedagogical institute, the faculty of physical education.
Since 1971 D.M.Mallaev had gone in for sports and achieved great results. He was a handball champion of the republic of Daghestan and Russian Federation.
In 1971 D.M.Mallaev graduated from the institute and worked as a coach. In December, 1971 he was promoted to the post of the assistant teacher of the sport subjects chair, The Daghestan state pedagogical institute.
From 1971 to 1973 D.M.Mallaev had served in the Soviet Army (in Germany), a platoon leader commander. He was decorated with breastplates Guardia, Honours soldier and other gratitudes.
Since 1973 D.M.Mallaev a post-graduate student of sport subjects chair, The Daghestan state pedagogical institute. In 1979 he was a post-graduate student of the Gorkovsk state pedagogical institute, the post-graduate students and young scientists Council chair.
From 1981 D.M.Mallaev had been a post-graduate student of the Scientific Research Institute of defectology, the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of USSR, in school 13.00.03-special pedagogies. In 1982 D.M.Mallaev defended a thesis in the Scientific Research Institute of defectology, the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of USSR. Since 1982 he had been the assistant teacher of the pre-school pedagogic and psychology chair of the faculty of pre-school education, the Daghestan state pedagogical university. In 1983 D.M.Mallaev was elected a dean of the faculty of pre-school education.
Since 1984 D.M.Mallaev had been a member of Methodical Council in pre-school pedagogies of the Ministry of Education and a member of Council in pre-school education of the Ministry of Education of the USSR.
Since 1986 D.M.Mallaev had been an associate professor of the pre-school pedagogies chair. From December, 1989 he had been a candidate for a doctors degree of the Scientific Research Institute of defectology, the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of USSR in school 13.00.03-special pedagogies.
In 1992 Dzhafar Mallaev successfully defended (before the appointed time) a thesis for a doctors degree in the Scientific Research Institute of defectology. Dzhafar Mallaev is a member of several symposiums including: the international symposium in Florida (the USA, 1990), the 7-th international congress (Denmark, 1991), a scientific project European standards of special education (Holland, march-april, 1994), a scientific seminar in pedology in Amsterdam university (1996), the international educational conferences (India, 2000-2005), (Malta, Germany, Estonia, 2006), (England, 2007).
Since September, 1993 D. M. Mallaev had headed the chair of correctional pedagogies and special psychology, had been in charge of the post-graduate courses in school 13.00.03 - correctional pedagogies, 19.00.10- correctional psychology. From 1993 up to present time under D. M. Mallaevs supervision there has been functioning the scientific school and more than 50 candidates and 3 doctors of sciences have been prepared under his guide.
D. M. Mallaev is the head of several grants and projects, collections of scientific works, the author of 200 publications.
From July, 1994 up to February 2007, he had been the dean of the faculty of pedagogies and psychology. In 1997, by decree of the State Council of the Republic of Daghestan Dzhafar Mallaev was conferred the rank of honorary title?� The Honoured scientist of the Republic of Daghestan, and in 1999?� was rewarded with a breastplate The Honorary scientist of higher vocational education of the Russian Federation.
